Solvent: Quart of Turpenoid or Turpenoil. No turpentine or other solvents.
Brushes: Get no less than 4 brushes--long handles. Get different sizes and kinds.
Better to buy medium to expensive brushes--cheap ones will not perform well or last very long.

Palette Knife: One or more bent palette knives would be useful
Support: Stretched canvases are best (12 x 16”, 16 x 20”, 20 x 22” are good sizes.) Canvas boards are okay, but not as permanent. You’ll need about 5 canvases.
Rags: LOTS OF THEM. Paper towels are nice, too. Lots of them, as well.
Optional Extras: Linseed oil/Stand Oil/Damar Varnish
CDs you would like the class to share
Foods/Non-alcoholic drinks for all to share
Note: If using acrylics, get retarder for slower drying. Extras: Gel Medium, Matte Medium
